Best white-label WhatsApp platforms in India — how to choose
There is no single best white-label WhatsApp platform — there is the one whose model fits how you want to earn. This checklist covers the twelve questions that decide it: wholesale or commission, fees, usage markup, branding, channels, contract, GSTIN, client ownership and support.
Disclosure: Botify publishes this guide and is one of the platforms. We answer every question for Botify and tell you what to ask the others. Other providers' details are taken from their public pages as checked on 7 October 2026 and may have changed since.
Start with one question: who invoices the client?
Every WhatsApp partner programme in India is a version of one of these four models.
| Model | In plain words | Who invoices the client | Who sets the price | How you earn |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Referral / affiliate | Send the provider a customer; it pays you a share for a set period. | Provider | Provider (list price) | % of what the client pays the provider |
| Certified / implementation partner | You sell and set up; the provider still bills the subscription. | Provider (subscription); you (your services) | Provider for the subscription; you for services | Recurring % plus 100% of your own service fees |
| Reseller / wholesale | Buy at a dealer price, sell at your price, keep the difference. | You | You | Gap between wholesale and your selling price |
| White-label | Wholesale, plus the product carries your name, logo and domain. | You | You | Wholesale gap plus usage markup, minus a platform fee |
Botify offers the commission models free (Certified Partner and Affiliate) and the wholesale model as one white-label programme (white-label / reseller). A tier is never both.
12 questions to ask any white-label provider
1Is it commission or wholesale — who invoices the client?
Whoever sends the invoice sets the price, collects the money, charges the GST and owns the relationship. A programme that charges you a fee and also pays a 'commission' while you set prices leaves it unclear what the percentage is a percentage of.
Ask: Who raises the client's tax invoice? Is my earning a commission on the provider's price, or a discount off it?
Botify's answer: Pure wholesale. You buy each client account at 40% (Silver), 45% (Gold) or 50% (Platinum) off Botify's list price, set your own price and invoice your clients with your own GSTIN. Botify invoices you on the 1st of each month.
2What exactly do the fees buy?
Monthly platform fees and set-up fees vary widely — from zero on some WhatsApp-only panels to significant monthly fees on all-in-one suites. The number matters less than what it buys and whether the price list is published.
Ask: Is there a set-up fee, a monthly fee, a per-client fee? Is the wholesale price list published?
Botify's answer: Platform fee ₹4,999, ₹9,999 or ₹24,999 a month (Silver, Gold, Platinum); a ₹14,999 brand launch fee, waived with 12 months prepaid; ₹30,000 one-time admin panel on Silver and Gold (included on Platinum). No per-client set-up fee. The full wholesale price list is on the white-label page. All excl. 18% GST.
3How is usage (messages and calls) priced, and can you mark it up?
On high-volume clients, message charges can exceed the subscription. Unclear rate cards or unlimited markup also put your clients at risk of bill shock — which comes back to you as churn.
Ask: What do I pay per WhatsApp marketing and utility message, SMS and voice minute? Can I mark it up, and by how much?
Botify's answer: You pay Botify list rates from a prepaid partner wallet — usage is never discounted — and may charge up to 25% more. India: WhatsApp marketing ₹0.93 (up to ₹1.16), utility/OTP ₹0.20 (up to ₹0.25), SMS ₹0.14 (up to ₹0.17), AI voice ₹5/min (up to ₹6.25).
4How deep is the branding?
'White-label' can mean anything from a logo swap to a fully branded product. Check what clients see on login, in emails, in PDFs and on WhatsApp itself.
Ask: Do clients log in on my domain? Do emails and PDFs carry my brand? Whose name appears on WhatsApp messages? Do I need my own Meta app?
Botify's answer: Your domain, logo, favicon, brand colours, company name and support email, on every tier. WhatsApp messages show your client's own business name. You don't need a Meta app; your own Meta app is an optional ₹25,000 one-time extra.
5Which channels can you sell beyond WhatsApp?
Clients who start on WhatsApp soon ask for SMS for OTPs, email, RCS or calling. If your platform can't offer them, the client adds another vendor — and possibly another agency.
Ask: Which channels are included at my tier? Is AI voice or RCS available under my brand?
Botify's answer: Silver: WhatsApp, SMS and email (Starter and Growth plans). Gold: all plans and all five channels including RCS and the AI Voice Agent. Platinum: everything plus Ads Manager for Google and Meta ads.
6What is the contract, and how do you change tiers?
Long lock-ins are risky when you are testing demand; no commitment at all usually means higher prices.
Ask: Is it monthly or annual? Can I move up or down, and when?
Botify's answer: Silver is monthly; Gold and Platinum are 12-month contracts. Move up any time — automatically at your 16th and 51st active paying client — and down only at renewal.
7Do you need a GSTIN, and is GST claimable?
If you invoice clients, you need to charge GST on your full selling price and claim input credit on what you pay the provider — otherwise 18% of your cost quietly eats your margin.
Ask: Will I get a B2B tax invoice I can claim input credit on?
Botify's answer: A GSTIN is required to join. Botify's invoices to you carry GST claimable as input credit; you invoice your clients under your own GSTIN.
8Who owns the client relationship — during and after?
Your clients are your business. Check whether the provider can approach them directly, and what happens if you part ways.
Ask: Is there a written non-solicitation clause? For how long after the agreement ends?
Botify's answer: Botify never approaches your clients — during the agreement and for 12 months after it. Existing Botify clients move to a partner only with Botify's consent.
9What do you pay for trial and inactive clients?
Per-seat or per-account fees on clients who are still evaluating — or who have stopped paying you — come straight out of your margin.
Ask: Do I pay for clients on trial? When does billing for a client start?
Botify's answer: You pay only for active paid clients. A client in its 7-day free trial costs you nothing, and trial clients don't count towards tier move-ups. Clients added mid-month are prorated.
10What happens if you pay late?
A billing dispute between you and the provider should never take your clients offline.
Ask: Do my clients stop sending if my invoice is overdue?
Botify's answer: Your clients keep sending. An unpaid invoice gets 7 days' grace; after that only new-client creation pauses.
11Who supports whom?
As a white-label partner you will be your clients' first call. You need to know exactly what the provider handles behind you.
Ask: What is first-line and what is second-line support? Is partner training included?
Botify's answer: You: sales, demos, onboarding, campaigns, templates, chatbots and client billing. Botify: uptime, WhatsApp/Meta escalations, SMS, DLT, RCS and voice routing, and free partner training and certification — with a named manager on Platinum.
12How are upstream rate changes handled?
Meta, telecom operators and TRAI change upstream costs. You need time to update your own rate cards.
Ask: How much notice do I get before message rates change?
Botify's answer: Meta, telecom and TRAI rate changes are passed on with 30 days' notice. Plan list-price changes are also notified 30 days ahead.

Choosing a white-label platform: FAQ
What is the difference between a WhatsApp API reseller and a white-label partner?
A reseller buys accounts at a wholesale price and sells them at its own price. A white-label partner does the same, and the platform also carries the partner's own domain, logo, colours and company name, so clients never see the provider's brand. On Botify the two are one programme: every tier — Silver, Gold and Platinum — is wholesale and white-label.
Is a wholesale or a commission model better for an agency?
It depends on whether you want to invoice clients. With commission, the provider bills the client and pays you a share, so you carry no billing work but the client sees the provider's price and brand. With wholesale, you bill the client at your own price under your own brand and keep the difference. If you don't have a GSTIN or don't want to handle billing, a commission programme such as Botify's free Certified Partner (15–20% recurring) fits better.
Why do some white-label WhatsApp panels charge no monthly fee?
Some WhatsApp-only and SMS panels earn entirely on per-message rates, so they advertise no set-up or monthly fee. Botify charges a platform fee from ₹4,999 a month because the platform covers five channels — WhatsApp, SMS, email, RCS and AI voice — plus an AI Sales Agent and, on Platinum, Ads Manager, with a published wholesale price list and a 25% cap on usage markup.
Is Botify an alternative to the AiSensy, Wati or Interakt partner programmes?
Botify runs a wholesale white-label programme for Indian partners: published tiers (Silver ₹4,999, Gold ₹9,999, Platinum ₹24,999 a month, excl. 18% GST), client accounts at 40–50% off list, usage at list rates with up to 25% markup, and a written non-solicitation commitment. Compare each provider's model, published prices and contract terms with the checklist on this page before you decide.
How much can I mark up WhatsApp messages as a white-label partner?
On Botify, up to 25% above list. In India a WhatsApp marketing message costs you ₹0.93 and you may charge up to ₹1.16; a utility or OTP message costs ₹0.20 and you may charge up to ₹0.25 (excl. 18% GST).
What should a white-label partner agreement protect?
At minimum: a non-solicitation clause covering your clients during and after the agreement, notice before rate changes, what happens to your clients if you pay late, and who handles which support issues. Botify's published partner terms cover all four — 12 months' non-solicitation after the agreement, 30 days' notice of upstream rate changes, clients keep sending if a payment is late, and a written first-line/second-line support split.
Do I need a GSTIN to become a white-label WhatsApp partner?
For Botify's white-label programme, yes. You invoice your own clients and claim input credit on Botify's invoices, so a GSTIN is required to join.
